Lincoln Youth Symphony set for Rome Performance

The Lincoln Youth Symphony are set to perform in the Eternal city next month. The group from Lincoln, Nebraska will be arriving in Rome on Friday 8th March and are set to tour iconic locations and perform at venues around the city.

The Lincoln Public Schools, from Lincoln Nebraska, founded the Lincoln Youth Symphony in 1957. The orchestra has maintained a standard of excellence throughout it’s history and as a result, many musicians in Lincoln and around the country have begun their musical careers with the Lincoln Youth Symphony experience.

The Lincoln Youth Symphony has traveled to and performed in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, China and Italy. The Lincoln Youth Symphony is the only youth orchestra sponsored by a school district for no cost or fee to the students.
