Over twenty thousand people filled the historic center of Rome to celebrate New Year’s Day with the marching bands of the Rome Parade, the Capital’s historic New Year’s parade. This year, the parade featured young musicians from the most prestigious high schools in the United States, along with folkloric groups, street artists, and majorettes from various parts of Italy! Three hours of pure fun for everyone, starting from Villa Borghese and traversing the entire Roman Trident. Enthusiasm, applause, singing, and dancing abounded, with a grand finale at sunset in Piazza del Popolo.
