Rome New Year Goes Global

American Public Television has confirmed that highlights of the Rome Parade 2025 will feature on many PBS stations across the USA, during the first week of January.

More than 200 PBS stations have already registered to screen the show.

The programme, produced by organisers, Destination Events Ltd, emulates similar success from others of its global portfolio, such as London’s New Year’s Day Parade.

Every American performance in the event will feature in the show and stations due to screen it, will declare their interest in December.

Director of the Rome Parade, Lizzie Bone, said: “We are delighted that American Public Television and PBS will facilitate so many people back home in the States to view it.“

“We do realise that many families might not want to view the stream online, and this is a fitting way to ensure that all those invested, will get to see it.

“What a legacy the programme will prove, something to treasure forever.”

In the meantime, performers can lobby their local PBS stations to ensure that they take the programme, and alert them that there will be an interested audience, wishing to view it.

An Italian version of the programme is being made available to stations in Italy.

The programme will be streamed live on www.romeparade.com
